Our intimate restaurant is open every day welcoming both guests and external clients. Our Chef has an international experience and has been working with very original and successful Chefs. His cuisine is a blend of creativity and passion and is inspired by both Tuscan and Italian culinary traditions. Our restaurant employs the products of our Region with ability and passion, creating dishes with Tuscany’s world famous cured meats, local cheeses, and the vegetables and aromatic herbs grown in our organic kitchen garden.

The restaurant is a modem structure of glass and steel with an ample terrace and an amazing view of the estate and of its infinity pool and it's the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a wedding ceremony.

Cooking classes

Our cooking classes are a journey into the true essence of Tuscan and Italian cuisine, highlighting the finest dishes and freshest ingredients from our orchard and the region. Guests are taught by our Chef how to recreate dishes prepared at Poggio Pigla in their own home. The programs offered are short classes followed by dinner and guests can choose to focus on local specialties or dishes from the Italian tradition.

The flavours of Tuscany can also be purchased as gifts (our oil and our Sangiovese wine) – the perfect Poggio Piglia mementoes to take home with you. Wines originating from some of Italy's most important wine areas are well represented in our Restaurant and Bar: Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and, of course, the “Super Tuscans”. The taste of these legendary wines might persuade you to visit the wineries where they were produced.



Our extra virgin olive oil derives from organic farming and all the olives are hand picking from more than 900 trees in our propriety. The oil is produced by cold squeezing out of 5 different qualities of olives: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Correggiolo, Leccino and Pendolino.

The oil has a pure flavour, without any aftertaste, and it’s perfect for all the kind of food.






The wine of Poggio Piglia presents, in spite of its youth, a sharp flavour and an important bouquet. Produced with Sangiovese grapes, it presents an intense ruby red color and offers a perfumed bouquet of red fruits. In an elegant structure, delicate tannin emerges.

It’s perfect to accompany red meats, soups, cheeses and cold cuts.
